The Burger Bahn is a mother and daughter run kitchen built on a simple idea: that Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore) deserves burgers as good as the ones served in the best burger joints around the world. What began as a small homegrown venture has grown into one of Bengaluru’s favourite spots for gourmet handcrafted burgers, fried chicken, and comfort food made with care.
Every recipe at The Burger Bahn is created in-house after years of research, testing, and tasting. We believe great food begins with quality ingredients, which is why we use unbleached maida, avoid palm oil, and source only premium, fresh produce. Every burger, bun, sauce and dish is prepared the way we would cook for our own family — clean, wholesome, and bursting with flavour. Our kitchen combines the best of honest cooking with modern culinary technique, creating food that tastes as good as it looks.
Our name, The Burger Bahn, is inspired by the German word “Bahn”, which means path, railway, track, or journey. It reflects our own path of creating honest, handcrafted food made with care and intention. Just as a Bahn connects people and places, we aim to bring people together through flavour and warmth — where every burger tells a story and every bite feels like part of the journey.
One of our proudest creations is the Pecking House Fried Chicken, inspired by New York’s iconic cult favourite. We are the only place in Bengaluru serving this unique style of fried chicken, perfectly crispy and coated with our signature spice blend, then finished with a polish of fragrant ghee for a rich, unforgettable flavour made for the Indian palate.
We have also been serving authentic smash burgers long before they became a trend and are among the first in Bengaluru to craft true OG smash burgers. Each patty is smashed to perfection on a hot griddle, creating a caramelized crust that locks in the juices, making every bite irresistibly tender and full of flavour.
